The story of TulipGarden began with a simple yet special idea:
to share the first true beauty of spring – the world of tulips – as a real, tangible experience for everyone.
The Beginning
Our garden was founded in 2019, here near Lake Balaton.
The founders’ goal was to create a place where the beauty of nature and flowers can truly be experienced by everyone.
A garden where you don’t just look at flowers – but become part of nature.
Size and Key Facts
The garden covers a fenced area of 10 hectares.
Around 1.5 hectares are planted with tulips, 3 hectares with lavender, and 4 hectares with a corn maze.
There are also logistics and development areas.
In 2026, more than one million flowers are blooming here,
with over 100 different tulip varieties.
This makes TulipGarden the largest tulip garden in Hungary, located here in Szőlősgyörök.
🌷 The TulipGarden Experience
What makes TulipGarden truly special is that you can pick your own tulips.
This “pick-your-own” experience has become very popular.
Visitors don’t just take home flowers – they take home memories.
As you look around, you’ll notice the carefully designed colors and varieties,
creating a harmonious yet visually stunning flower field.
Growth and Community
Over the years, TulipGarden has continuously grown.
Following the success of the first garden, new locations were established.
Today, there are 14 TulipGarden sites in Hungary and one in Slovakia.
The concept reaches more and more people, with a strong focus on sustainability.
TulipGarden is now not just a garden, but a shared experience for families, friends, and couples.
More Than a Flower Field
Today, the garden is more than just tulips.
Many visitors come here for photos, trips, or to celebrate special occasions.
TulipGarden is a place where nature, experience, and people meet.
The Future
Our goal is to preserve this special atmosphere
and make the beauty of nature accessible to even more people.
Each year, new experience points are added:
photo spots, places for reflection, Christian symbols, seating areas, tractor tours, and guided garden tours.
